What to include
- Electrical contractor licence
- Licence number and the state it covers, plus any other registrations.
- Types of work
- Fit-outs, switchboards, maintenance, data, solar, industrial. Be specific.
- Insurance
- Public liability and workers compensation with cover amounts.
- Compliance and testing
- How you handle testing, tagging and certificates of compliance.
- Project experience
- Two to four jobs that match the work you want more of.
- Team
- Key electricians and supervisors, with their licences.
Mistakes to avoid
- Hiding licence numbers on the last page
- Listing every service without saying which you are best at
- Photos of messy switchboards mid-job
- Out-of-date insurance details
